Rosalynn was a gracious woman who helped society by her commitment to others. She and Jimmy were/are wonderful examples of everything we believe in as a country.

Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter inspired me to become a volunteer in November of 2014 through June 2022 then I got full time hired date of June 2022 onward as an employee of Habitat For Humanity. She was so wonderful and very caring she will be dearly missed. Thank you so much for everything that you have done for us at Habitat.

Simply the best of what a person should be. We’re sure she is now resting easily waiting for Jimmy.

As a member of the public, only an observer from afar, she impressed on my mind that she had a quiet beauty and dignity, a very well-equipped first lady that would serve our nation well and she proved that impression while in the white house. She was a light that shown brightly in service, to me, that was her greatest gift. She served God, her family, her nation and ones in need of shelter. What an example of a life well-lived in service. What a privilege to have had the glimpses of her life the public got to see. Her marriage was something to emulate for those of us who are married and I always admired them as a couple. They were in my prayers and our former President Carter will always be in mine.

My condolences to family, what a sweet down to earth smart sweet couple...how special the world was with Mrs. Carter in it, she will be missed dearly... Love you both.

Rosalynn Carter (and her husband) inspired me in many ways. I have worked to protect children, the mentally ill people and vulnerable elders—the abused and neglected. I have helped build Habitat houses and still support them. So hats off and love to her.

One of the last Presidential administrations that I felt truly worked as hard as they could for the people and country they served. So many politicians would have done well to have taken notes from such people as First Lady Rosalynn and President Carter. They just don't make 'em like that anymore.

As the former Chairman of Habitat for Humanity Australia I have always had the utmost respect for the Carter family. This was compounded when I lived in Atlanta for 15 years. During that time I visited the Carter Center from time to time and also enjoyed a splendid lunch with your son, Chip. May God shower his love on you for all you have done for the Kingdom.

My heart is so full with sorrow for us all, but also love and gratitude for a life well-lived. Rosalynn Carter was truly a bright light in the world and one of my biggest regrets is not being able to meet her and President Carter (it has been on my bucket list for a long time). The world is truly a better place because of the two of them!

What a lovely “First Lady” and role model for all of us! The work Rosalynn did for mental health advocacy was so early on in this area before anyone talked about their mental health issues that affect so many of us! She and Jimmy made many more people aware of “Habitat for Humanity” by giving their services each year to this wonderful organization! Her special kind of human being will be missed!
