I was blessed to be a part of the Carter work project in California around 1994-1996. Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter made such an impact on me and it was wonderful to see them working side-by-side on one of the homes they were building. I have to confess it was such a beautiful experience that I took off work a few extra days, just to be a part of such a positive loving environment filled with so many people who really cared about what they were doing. Rest In Peace, dear lady!

I was a support staff volunteer during the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project in Dallas-Fort Worth 2014. They weren't here for show but were hard at work the entire time, a quiet, humble, inspiring presence on the work sites despite the Texas heat! What a gift to have seen them in action for the well-being of others. Well done thou good and faithful servant Rosalynn!
