Thanks for all your humanitarian efforts. I have been a supporter of Habitat for Humanity. I am also a longtime member of Friendship Force and have so enjoyed participating in journeys, as well as hosting people from many places across the US as well as multiple other countries. You and your husband have helped so many people around the world.

She was an inspiration as a caring and compassionate advocate.

A true First Lady in all respects. Her work after leaving office is an example to us all.

She was a gift to our world and is now in heaven with our GREAT GOD!

Jimmy Carter was president when I was in elementary and early middle school. Even now, after having the honor of working for two Presidents and an appointee, Jimmy and Rosalynn will forever be my image of true American leaders - embodying humility and service. We will miss your presence in the world, Rosalynn!

Rosalynn Carter has been a hero of mine for so many years. She truly made the world a better place.

I will be forever grateful for the Friendship Force trip we were able to take to China in the mid 1980s because of Rosalynn Carter's efforts to make the Friendship Force part of her legacy. May peace surround her loved ones.

I have admired Mrs. Carter ever since she became First Lady of the United States. Her quiet reserve, love for her husband, and passion for projects she was dedicated to were admirable and inspired others, me included.

I saw Rosalynn Carter in person at a Habitat for Humanity blitz build in Berea, KY. They were always smiling, humble and very approachable. They truly were compassionate for those less fortunate!

I was at the Carter Center a long time ago. I asked the ladies in the gift shop if President Carter or Mrs. Carter came to the Center very regularly. They laughed and told stories about her coming to the gift shop with her Christmas shopping list. They laughed as they described it and I could feel their affection for her. I could see in my mind’s eye her with that list walking around and pointing to this gift for that friend or this person. May she rest in well deserved peace. I know she will hear “Well done my good and faithful servant, we’ll done”. We were all blessed to share time on this earth with this amazing woman.

The World has lost one of the greatest First Lady's that ever graced the White House. More importantly, Rosalynn Carter was a fierce advocate and supporter for countless Charitable Organizations and Foundations. And she was a Beautiful Kindred Spirit to her Husband and Family. Both President Carter and Mrs. Carter were wonderful examples of what humanity is all about. Their honesty, compassion and respect for each other were such a testimony to their love for one another. They dignified the office of the President and are what all politicians should strive to be. My sincere condolences to President Carter and his family at the loss of their beloved Rosalynn.

I’ve admired you from afar, but made donations to The Carter Center and both shopped and gave to several Habitat Houses in our local community. Your generosity and advocacy in the mental health is sorely needed and we will miss the opportunities you gave to address its issues. Bless your continual rest.

We will forever be indebted to Habitat and the Carters. When we were flooded out of our home by hurricane Floyd in 1999, the first organizations to give us hope was the Salvation Army and habitat. Please accept our sincere sympathy for the loss of a wonderful, loved women/ human being. We should all try to be like her and her husband. Also, please accept our thanks.
