Thank you for the wonderful example you set for all Americans, and for the world. I remember being SO excited in 1976 when Jimmy was elected! And everything you did since then has been from the heart. Thank you!

I worked at the Carter Work Project 2004 in Puebla, Mexico. It meant so much to me as a volunteer worker to see the Carters on the site and to pray for each home and present a Bible to each homeowner. They joined us in the breakfast tent and the optional devotional each day. The Carters worked at two sites: Puebla and Veracruz. Rest in eternal peace, Rosalynn Carter.

I never had the pleasure of meeting First Lady Rosalynn Carter in person, but I believe that her hard work speaks for itself! She was a gracious First Lady, loving wife, caring mother and grandmother. She was a very honest, inspiring and truthful author. I have been inspired by both First Lady and Former President Carter to continue writing and telling my stories to the world. Rest in Peace!

I worked for Mrs. Carter as government relations director for her early childhood immunization campaign which she cochaired with Betty Bumpers. They began the campaign as governors' wives--Rosalynn in Georgia and Betty in Arkansas. It took off when Rosalynn was in the White House and Betty, a Senate wife (of Dale). Rosalynn was meticulous in getting her facts straight and being prepared. She was also personable, kind and unpretentious.

I will miss her presence and seeing her by Jimmy’s side. Rest In Peace lovely lady!

Among her many achievements, Rosalynn Carter was one of the first public figures to advocate for awareness of mental health and the terrible damage done by stigma. She was a deeply impactful public servant who “walked the walk” as few others have managed. Condolences to her family and to the nation.

My husband and I attended church with the Carters in Plains. In the bathroom was a list of people and dates of who was to clean the bathroom. On the list was Mrs Rosalynn Carter. I will not forget seeing this and acknowledging this act of humility from the First Lady. It inspires me to remember that we should never think some tasks are beneath us and live the Biblical admonition - whoever wants to be great should be a servant. Matthew 20:26
