Although I never had the opportunity to meet her or attend a Carter Work Project, I have been inspired by both President and Mrs. Carter for nearly all of my Habitat life. They have shown me what it means to be in service to others, to be a light. Mrs. Carters light will live on in those families and volunteers she worked alongside - what a tremendous gift given.

My condolences to The President Mr and Mrs. Rosalyn Carter' family. Mrs. Carter's emphasis on mental health awareness conditioned my mother to be a forefront trustee for friends and family to freely confide in about their struggles. The Habitat for Humanity established my initial hope and dream of becoming a homeowner. I truly miss the unconditionally loving and humane dedicated servitude that the legacy of the Carter Presidency has embarked on my life. You are Never Forgotten Rosalyn Carter!

Accept all our blessed thoughts at this time. May the Psalm 91 be with your family at this time. Your presence will be missed, as your memory will be everlasting. Your presence, was there for me as a little girl. As I had lost my late mom to colon cancer. Needed something to look up to. You being the first lady, took some of the pain away. May you rest in peace. Lovely Mrs. Carter

My Thanks to Rosalynn & Jimmy Carter. Your example of personal contribution through good work & deed has always been motivational. Small contributions of your labor, talents, and fame towards larger ideals is both admirable and lacking in today’s world. They who die with the most accumulated wealth surely does not win. Rather, they who have done the most to forward humanity should be revered.

She made everyone understand how merciful love of God can be seen thru all of our hands! Her and her husband built 4,690 homes secretly. Plus she donated money to the Philippines to help build homes for the poor. She never needed to show off. We will miss her
