I shared time with Rosalynn and Jimmy Carter during my experience with the South Africa build in 2002. I have never met such gracious and humble people. Jimmy Carter was such an inspiration as a human being and regardless of how others analyze his presidency, to me, we have never had a president who cared so much about us and the world we live in. Whenever the name Carter was mentioned it was always followed by an act of service for others. He not only believed in helping others, he actually went out and did it.
