Habitat for Humanity Guatemala invites participation in its 3rd Open for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity Guatemala’s third annual Open for Humanity will take place Friday, March 23, 2012 in the Guatemala Country Club.

GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala (March 16, 2012) – Habitat for Humanity Guatemala invites golfers to its “3rd Open for Humanity”, scheduled for Friday, March 23, 2012 in the prestigious Guatemala Country Club.

The tournament is one of the organization’s most important fundraising events of the year, possible with the support of the Guatemala Country Club, which donates the use of its course for the event. Other key supporters include: Valvoline, Gentrac, Delta, Re/Max Colonial, Lipton, Grupo Equitek, Grupo Golán, KitchenAid, Bienes Inmuebles TV, Bollé, Ogilvy, Durman, Rackets & Golf, Revista Actitud, Prensa Libre, Revista Ser Gerente, Hotel Crowne Plaza, Hotel Camino Real Antigua, El Green Times, Event Center, Grupo SML and De la Riva.

The third annual event will be played in the style of “A Go-Go” in foursomes, with a maximum of 88 players. Tee time is at 7:30 a.m.

The Open for Humanity offers its participants high stakes prizes, thanks to the support of its sponsors. Prizes will be provided for “Hole in one”, “Closests to the pin” and “Longest drive”.

The registration donation is GTQ 700 (roughly US 91) per participant, which includes the green fee and lunch.
