Our Global Education Toolkit is an online educational resource that shares knowledge and practical educational tools on housing, land rights and sustainable urban development. It is divided into six chapters:
- Sustainable development and SDGs in general.
- Sustainable urban development and SDG11.
- Urbanization and slum upgrading.
- Gender equality and housing.
- Migration and climate change.
- Land rights.
Each chapter includes a comprehensive theoretical background of the topic that does not require further research by the educator. Most importantly, the toolkit is primarily focused on practical and active ways of learning about the topics. Each chapter contains three lesson plans, three shorter exercises, a research project and an action project. This toolkit is adaptable to the needs of the educator, topics of interest, time constraints or group sizes. The aim is to educate and raise awareness about these issues among the youth (15-18 years old).
