Choosing to put aside rivalries, Wisconsin seniors from seven high schools raised more than 110,000 to build a home with Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat.

In addition to fundraising, the group spent more than 450 hours building the house, which was dedicated in August.

“We’re all similar kids with similar goals. It’s actually been really easy to come together,” says participating student Kitt Richards. “It proves it doesn’t really matter what school you go to — we’re all willing to work together to make the Fox Valley a better community.”
