Yale Locks & Hardware to donate 10 percent of online purchases to Habitat for Humanity
Ninety-day program offers homeowners 10 percent discount on Yale shopping site with 10 percent of each order donated to help fund affordable housing.
During the 90-day sales event, which began on July 21, consumers can visit http://www.yale2you.com//Other/HFH.aspx to shop for Yale locks and door hardware and use the promotion code HFH14 to get 10 percent off on their order. Yale will donate 10 percent of every order placed using the promotion code during the 90-day period to Habitat for Humanity, which builds and renovates houses for low-income families.
“At Yale, we understand that a home provides many things, but the most important is peace of mind. That’s why we’re proud of our 13-year partnership with Habitat for Humanity and pleased to support their work in helping millions of people create safe and secure places to live,” said Jason Williams, general manager, Yale Residential. “We’re also thrilled to offer consumers an incentive to shop for Yale products and in the process help those in need of affordable housing.”
“We are grateful for the support Yale has shown Habitat for Humanity for more than a decade,” said Colleen Finn Ridenhour, deputy director, Corporate, Foundation and Institutional Relations, Habitat for Humanity International. “This new campaign will help raise additional funding vital to Habitat’s mission to create safe, affordable housing in partnership with low-income families around the world.”
Yale has partnered with Habitat for Humanity since 2001, and during that time has provided the organization with more than 14 million worth of entry door locks and interior locksets for use in Habitat homes in North America.
Every Yale product offered on www.yale2you.com is eligible for the 10 percent discount during the 90-day promotion. These include the company’s line of Yale Real Living electronic locks plus deadbolts, exterior and interior doorknobs, levers, handlesets and Yale’s extensive line of entry accessories.
