GAF renews partnership to provide roofing materials to Habitat for Humanity

Materials donation to match labor donated by GAF Certified Contractors in communities across the United States

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (June 17, 2015) – GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, recently announced it has renewed its ongoing national partnership with Habitat for Humanity. The company will provide the roofing materials for Habitat for Humanity projects while GAF Master Elite and Certified Contractors will donate the roofing installation services in their communities through March of 2017. All installed roofs will carry a GAF System Plus Ltd. warranty.

“We are thrilled to continue this amazing partnership to benefit local communities alongside Habitat for Humanity,” stated Paul Bromfield, senior vice president of marketing and new business development at GAF. “Through this program we are able to not only support the Habitat mission, but also GAF’s focus on supporting our dedicated contractors who are top installers in their area and who also want to contribute to their communities.”

Thousands of GAF Master Elite and Certified Contractors nationwide are eligible to participate in the partnership.

“Habitat is grateful for this donation of construction materials and labor, which is key to Habitat’s mission to create affordable housing,” said Colleen Finn Ridenhour, deputy director of corporate, foundation and institutional relations at Habitat for Humanity International. “The GAF partnership is helping lower home construction costs for Habitat affiliates, making it possible to serve even more low-income families. We are grateful for their support.”
