BANGKOK, 10th April 2005: General Motors is supporting the work of HFH Thailand with two vehicles that were donated at a special ceremony at the GM showroom in Bangkok recently. The two Chevy Colorados pick-up trucks are for use by the Korat and Lampang affiliates, in Thailand’s northeast.
HFH Thailand has helped nearly 500 families and operates other affiliates in Udon Thani and Chiang Mai. A fifth affiliate was established last year in Bangkok. HFH Thailand is also responding to the December tsunami in the south of the country. It has established a disaster response center in Phang Nga and has started building new houses in Khao Lak.
