Senior Specialist, Management & Operations Expertise Hub
This person will project manage and support the development and socialization of new and refreshed content for the hub. Content focuses on, but is not limited to, operational areas such as governance, finance, information technology, administration and human resources. This role will also support the thoughtful and intentional curation of existing content/expertise from both the Habitat community and external partnerships. This role collaborates closely with HFHI affiliate-facing learning professionals to ensure that content is packaged and delivered in the most accessible and useful way to be applicable to Habitat’s diverse network.
This position may be based remotely within the US and requires 10% travel.
Responsibilities
*Develop content, products and services associated with organizational management and operations, e.g. templates, how-to documents, webinars, peer connection opportunities, etc.
*Bring all projects to successful closure through hands-on project management and by ensuring collaboration with internal and external partners.
*Identify and curate excellent examples from the affiliate and Affiliate Support Organization (ASO) community to annotate and share out.
*Support Viva Engage communities by identifying common issues and needs, integrating these findings into products and services, and sparking conversation and engagement with the community as appropriate.
*Project manage and facilitate Communities of Practice, Peer Connection Chats, webinars, and other training/interactive approaches (e.g. aggregating content, planning webinar calendar, coordinating, facilitating, etc.).
*Support the marketing and communications efforts of the hub (e.g., working with communications, MyHabitat, ASO team, and Affiliate Support Center) to keep Expertise Hub as a top-of-mind resource for affiliate leaders.
*Collaborate across applicable HFHI departments to ensure that content aligns with best practices, mission, values, and guiding principles.
Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
*3+ years of related experience.
*Strong understanding of business management and operations, including board governance, financial management, and risk prevention, particularly within non-profit organizations.
*Solid project management skills.
*Experience coordinating and facilitating basic training, webinars, team/ group meetings, etc.
*Some experience developing content, products, and services for socialization.
*Proven ability to deliver tangible impact while handling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and exhibit efficient time management and exceptional organizational skills.
*Ability to establish systems and define success within ambiguous goals and structure.
*Ability to quickly collect data and information from internal and external sources, synthesize and summarize for diverse stakeholders.
*Track record of excellent customer service.
*Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and a general comfort level working with digital platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, SharePoint, Salesforce, online meeting software, etc.).
*Outstanding verbal & written communication; ability to adapt communication style and approach for diverse audiences.
*Ability to build relationships, influence/motivate, drive change and manage across teams and outside direct reporting lines.
*Understanding of the HFH mission.

*Experience with Habitat for Humanity or other affiliated and/or federated network.
The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance. For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $57,890-$68,100.
