Simpson Strong-Tie is renewing its partnership with Habitat for Humanity for the 12th consecutive year, contributing more than $2.75 million toward Habitat’s mission to date.
Simpson Strong-Tie has committed $450,000 to Habitat for Humanity to help build safe and affordable homes. Funding will also support the housing organization’s Habitat Strong program, which uses building methods to improve durability, resiliency and strength to uphold against severe climate conditions.
In 2023, Habitat launched a sustainable design innovation challenge, generously sponsored by Weyerhauser, with the goal of increasing access to affordable, high-quality homes by encouraging innovative ideas that promote sustainability and resiliency. Check out a slideshow of the results.
