Through our Aging in Place program, Habitat aims to help older adults make the upgrades and repairs necessary to ensure their homes are accessible and safe to continue living in as they age. These stories exemplify our work to provide these accessible accommodations across the U.S.
Together, we and our partners are committed to helping the people of Haiti do the incredibly hard work of rebuilding so that they are safer and more secure in their homes the next time disaster strikes.

The lack of affordable housing across the U.S. continues to threaten the livelihoods of essential workers. Habitat for Humanity Roaring Fork Valley and partners created Basalt Vista, a sustainable housing development to help 27 families stay and continue serving the community.
Finding a decent, affordable place to call home was an ongoing challenge for Donyelle, a public school employee for 37 years. “We were really in need of better housing,” Donyelle says.
