The 2018 Carter Work Project will be hosted by Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County, Indiana, on Aug. 26-31. We invite you to join President and Mrs. Carter and hundreds of volunteers to help build or improve more than 30 homes in Mishawaka and South Bend.
Habitat’s annual report for fiscal year 2021 shows that since 1976, the organization has helped more than 39 million people build or improve the place they call home.
This investment, driven by a shared commitment to helping more families achieve financial security and stability, will provide funding to local and national Habitat organizations to help families across the U.S. and abroad.
During the month of April, more than 400 Kum & Go locations engaged store associates and encouraged customers to donate to Habitat at checkout, which raised more than $547,000.
Thirty years after helping Habitat for Humanity rebuild a derelict apartment building on New York City’s Lower East Side, the first couple returned to visit some of the families who have thrived there since.
