The award will be used to help Habitat affiliates across the U.S. further address the systemic barriers that have prevented many underserved populations, particularly Black Americans, from owning homes.
Habitat is engaged with its local organizations throughout the storm’s anticipated path, and is encouraging residents to prepare for the storm.
To protect the health and safety of its staff, volunteers and the communities it serves, Habitat for Humanity International today announced that it is requiring the use of face coverings or masks in all of its global offices, branches, warehouses and Habitat ReStores.
