Ed Anderson
Chief Administrative Officer
Ed Anderson, a respected global leader with experience in information technology, business operations, digital transformation and information security, came out of retirement in July 2022 to provide supervisory support to Habitat for Humanity International’s finance, information technology and legal divisions. Before retiring, he was director and chief information officer of the International Monetary Fund. He was responsible for the modernization and digitalization of human resources, economic data, knowledge management, capacity development and collaboration functions and for modernizing IT platforms and information security’s role and function within the IMF.
Before that, Ed served as the global chief information officer for World Vision International, leading the creation of a unified global information solution and IT organization, including a new operating model and cultural integration. He has also worked in leadership positions in strategy, process innovation and global technology for organizations such as Anerian, LLC; the United States Peace Corps; AmeriChoice Health Services; Sodexho; Iridium; Verizon; and Accenture. Ed possesses a strong sense of community service, serves on a number of nonprofit boards, and is a small business owner. He has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from American University.
