Video: Resilience after Hurricane Harvey: “You have to be strong”

Before the floodwaters of Hurricane Harvey, the Habitat house was everything Rosalinda had hoped for — a place where her small children could have their own beds, a place where her family could snuggle on the couch and share a bowl of popcorn. After losing everything, Rosalinda now hopes to rebuild. “My daughter said, ‘I want to go home,’” Rosalinda says. “So do I.”

During good times and in times of disaster, Habitat for Humanity and volunteers work alongside families like Rosalinda’s to help them build, improve or repair the place they call home.
