TCIS

Habitat’s Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter

TCIS works with various stakeholders in the housing market to offer more and better services, products and innovative forms of financing that respond to the real needs of low-income families seeking to build or improve their homes.

The goal of the Terwilliger Center is to make the housing market work more effectively and efficiently for people in need of decent and affordable housing, thereby improving the quality of life for these households.

With laboratories in Mexico and Peru, the Terwilliger Center studies the housing market in Latin America and the Caribbean, developing projects that provide better solutions for increasing access to affordable housing.
