Global Village program
Asia-Pacific
Habitat for Humanity International’s Global Village program is a transformative short-term international volunteer experience with opportunities across five continents. Volunteer groups support Habitat’s long-term work around the world building or improving homes by partnering with local communities as part of Habitat’s vision where everyone has a decent place to live.
After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Habitat has gradually resumed the Global Village program. Currently, Global Village builds are available in 15 countries including Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Nepal and Vietnam in the Asia-Pacific region. Global Village is tailored for individuals seeking purpose, champions for equitable housing, and advocates striving for sustainable change. We hope that the Global Village experience is just the beginning of a volunteer’s journey with Habitat and social change.
The Global Village program is dedicated to making sure that all volunteers have the tools to create lasting impact long after they return home, whether that is serving at their local Habitat organization, fundraising, and advocating for adequate and affordable housing or planning their next Global Village build.
