The presidential palace in Dushanbe, one of the governmental buildings of the city. Dushanbe has become famous for being one of the major old cities located on the ancient Silk Road. Today, Dushanbe is viewed as the city of peace, friendship and brotherhood. It was declared by UNESCO a City of Peace in the region. |  |
