Welcome to Habitat for Humanity University

Habitat for Humanity is known throughout the world for providing housing. We provide something else—knowledge.

Coming Soon: HabitatLearns

HabitatLearns is an exciting new global learning portal—one that is similar to the current HFHU, only better. HabitatLearns will go live on January 21, 2009. Until then, HabitatLearns exists as Habitat for Humanity University (HFHU).

Transition Plan

HFHU will cease accepting course enrollment on December 19, 2008, as the transition to HabitatLearns begins. During the following four weeks, our technical team will migrate select HFHU courses, conduct testing and add many exciting new courses to the catalog. We chose the holiday period to minimize the inconvenience to learners. To accommodate those learners who are currently taking one or more courses, we will keep HFHU online until January 31, 2009.

How to Proceed

On or after January 21, 2009, all interested learners will need to register on the new HabitatLearns.org site. The process will be straightforward and take only a couple of minutes. Upon login, you will see a new course catalog that lists the courses available and conditions for enrollment. You may enroll for courses with open enrollment at that time. Courses with conditional enrollment will include instructions on how to proceed.
