Our blitz:
Habitat for Humanity of Horry County will be constructing 6 homes during the week of June 2-6, 2008 as part of the Habitat International Home Builder Blitz. These six homes will be built on Mistletoe Court, in the Village of Dreams Subdivision in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The blitz homes represent Horry County's 86th, 87th, 88th, 89th, 90th, and 91st home built since 1991. 2008 will mark Habitat for Humanity of Horry County's second Home Builders Blitz. The partner families are: Martha Salters (3 bedroom), Candice Simmons (4 bedroom), Jennifer Bellamy (3 bedroom), Gene McAndrew (4 bedroom), Mark and Tina Tidd (3 bedroom) and Deb and Jeff Kithianis (5 bedroom). Classic Home Building and Design, Chancel Builders, and Derrick Blanton Construction built four homes in our 2006 Home Builders Blitz.
